Riding together
Ride the same route with other users and see on the map where everyone is.
For riding with friends who also use Odín Rally: everyone with the same route in the app, and everyone seeing where the others are.
Ride it with another user
In the menu of a route in «Your routes» (on the website or in the app), press «Ride it with another user» and type the email of their account. They get a copy of the route, already calculated and with the same GPX, and an email. Each of you records and conquers your own; renaming, archiving or deleting a copy does not touch the others.
- Only between users with an account: if that email has no Odín Rally account, you are told so and nothing else.
- Up to 6 people per route: you and 5 more.
- If their «Your routes» is full, the route goes to their archive.
Live
When you start recording a group route, the app asks once whether you want to share your position with your riding partners while you record. If you say yes, every 15 seconds it sends where you are and receives where the others are.

- Each partner is a green dot with their name on the map.
- In the column and in «Data», where they are: «Marta · 1.2 km behind · 20 s ago», by the route's km if you are both on it; otherwise, as the crow flies.
- With more than 3 minutes without signal, in grey. So you know if someone has fallen behind or got lost, and whether to wait.
- From home: the route opened in «Your routes» on the website has «Live», with the map and the group list, updated every 15 seconds. Anyone in the group can see it.
It works with the app open on the route screen: with the screen off, your position is not sent.
Your privacy
- Only people in your group see it, with your rankings name (or what comes before the @ of your email, never the full email).
- Only while you record, and only if you said yes.
- Only your latest position: each update replaces the previous one and your ride is not stored.
- It never appears on the shared map.
- It is deleted when you finish, when you delete the route or your account and, whatever is left, after 24 hours.
