Rankings
The overall ranking, by territory and consistency, the points rankings by category and Landnám, the yearly one. All coming soon.
Odín Rally never measures or publishes speed or times: the rankings reward riding often and getting to know a lot of territory.
The overall ranking
Coming soon
It is not in the app yet. This is how it will work: it counts what you have conquered since you started using Odín Rally and how consistently you ride.
Passes conquered
The different passes you have ridden over with the app recording.
Territories
The territories you have conquered and the ones you dominate.
Riding days
The days you go out riding with the app.
It never resets. How these numbers are combined will be explained here when it is ready.
The points rankings
Coming soon
Every pass you ride over adds its points. There will be a ranking per category and an overall one adding up all three:
Road
The points you earn on your Road routes.
Off-road
The points you earn on your Off-road routes.
Mixed
The points you earn on your Mixed routes.
Overall
The sum of all three: riders who combine road and track have more options.
Landnám, the yearly ranking
Coming soon
Landnám means «land-taking» in Old Norse: the name of the settlement of Iceland, where the first to arrive kept the land. It will be the most authentic version of Odín Rally:
From 1 January to 31 December
The season lasts a year. Every 1 January, all passes are free again.
First to arrive conquers it
The first to ride over a pass with the app recording conquers it for that year, and nobody else can conquer it until the next season.
The prize
Whoever conquers the most passes in the season gets the app free for 12 months.
The tie-break
If two riders end with the same number of passes, the one with more points wins.
The usual version, with your rank and your territory, is separate and never resets. The full rules, when it is ready.
