What data we collect and why

If you sign up: your email address, language, date and the version of this policy you accepted, to give you access to the app when there is a place and to send you Odín Rally news; the name you choose for the rankings, which is published in them (it can be a nickname); your bikes (model and, if you enter it, range), to link routes and statistics to each one and plan fuel stops; and, if you tick them, the regions where you would like to use it, to decide where to go next (only used to count how many people ask for each area). To prevent abuse we also store your IP address truncated (without the last number), never the full address. The legal basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box.

If you ask for the area alert

Your email, language, date, the version of this policy you accepted and the regions you tick, only to let you know when Odín Rally reaches them. We also store your truncated IP address to prevent abuse. The legal basis is your consent; it is deleted whenever you ask.

If you use the app (beta testers)

If we give you access to try Odín Rally: your email (to identify you: we send you a login code from [email protected], through our Raiola Networks server in Spain; we only store an encrypted fingerprint of the code and of your session), the date of your last login and how often you log in, the routes you request with their filters and starting point (which may be your home or your location, if you share it), their results and the routes you mark as done. They are used to provide the service and calculate your statistics. The legal basis is the beta agreement you accept when you log in (see the terms of use). The administrator can view your account to help you or fix errors. They are kept while you have access and deleted if you ask.

Inside the app there is a link to a WhatsApp group for beta testers. Joining is voluntary and it is run by WhatsApp (Meta), with its own terms and privacy policy: in the group, other members can see your phone number and WhatsApp name. Odín Rally does not store anything that happens in the group.

Who processes it

The data is stored in a Cloudflare database in the European Union, which acts as data processor. The website is served through Cloudflare and a Raiola Networks server (Spain), which receive the IP address of each visit in order to deliver the page. Emails you send to the contact address are forwarded by Cloudflare (Email Routing) to the person in charge. When we start sending news, the sending tool will be listed here. Data is not shared with anyone else.

How long

Until you unsubscribe: just write to the contact email, and every mailing will include a one-click link to do so.

Your rights

You can request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to [email protected]. If you believe they have not been respected, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).

Cookie-free analytics

To know how many people visit the website and what interests them, each page view sends an anonymous signal: the page, the website you came from, screen size, language, time zone, the time you spend on the page, how far you read and the links you click. Your IP address is not stored: it is only used at that moment, together with the browser, to calculate a fingerprint that counts you once a day. That fingerprint is calculated with a random number that changes every day and is deleted the next day, so nobody can be followed from one day to the next or identified. The country is worked out by Cloudflare from the connection. The data is stored at Cloudflare, in the European Union. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in knowing how the website is used, without data that identifies you.

Cookies

This website does not use cookies and does not load content from other websites. Only if you visit a page with ?or=off does it store a mark in your browser so your visits are not counted. The app (odinrally.com/app) uses technical cookies, only for people who log in: the session cookie (or_sesion, it expires after 30 days without logging in), one that tells the website your session is open so it can show «My account» (or_cuenta, with no personal data) and the language cookie (or_l), plus a 10-minute one while you wait for the code (or_pend). The administration area, reserved for the owner, uses the technical login cookie of Cloudflare Access.

This is a translation for convenience; the Spanish version prevails.
